Tucker Pederson Looks To Continue Winning Streak This Weekend

EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (July 17, 2020) – Last weekend was a successful one for Tucker Pederson, as he collected wins two and three on the year at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, and at the Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN.
 

On Friday night, after a third place finish in his heat race, Tucker started on the outside of the front row in the main event.
 
Tucker used the middle to his advantage to build a five car length advantage early on in the fifteen lapper.
 
Shortly after the only caution of the race, Tucker then held off veterans Doug VanMill and John Halvorson on the lap six restart, while moving to the top to hold a half car length advantage over VanMill.
 
Tucker held off VanMill for the final nine circuits, leading every lap for his first win at the 'Bullring' in 2020.
 
Saturday night at the Greenbush Race Park, the track was finally able to lift the lid on their 2020 campaign after being shuttered for the Covid-19 pandemic, and a rainout one week prior.
 
Tucker charged from the fourth starting spot in his heat to score the heat win, and redrew the third starting spot for the main event.
 
Tucker wasted little time making his way to the front of the field, once again leading each and every one of the fifteen laps, again winning over VanMill.
 
Tucker now has seven career feature victories, and will be looking for number eight tonight again at River Cities.
 
Joey Pederson will also be in action tonight, as he will join the stout field of World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model series drivers in Grand Forks. Joey will be looking to bounce back from a DNF last week, but has a previous eighth place finish with the Outlaws at River Cities, after starting 21st in 2015.
 
After a week off, Kelsi will join Tucker in Greenbush on Saturday night, for her first look at the Greenbush  quarter-mile for 2020.
