Pederson Racing Gears Up For Tripleheader Weekend!

EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (August 30, 2019) – Another busy weekend lies ahead for the three-car Joey Pederson Racing team. The action kicks off tonight at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. Joey and Tucker will both be racing as the 2019 points-paying season comes to a close at the Bullring. 

On Saturday and Sunday, Tucker and Kelsi will be partaking in the Greenbush Race Park Labor Day doubleheader. 

Last weekend was one of Tucker’s strongest of the year to date. The pilot of the No. 27 WISSOTA Street Stock raced to a strong fourth-place effort on Friday night at River Cities Speedway. On Saturday, Tucker picked up his fourth overall win of the season at Greenbush. He now has two wins at Greenbush and two at River Cities. 

Tucker started fifth in the feature before taking the lead with two laps to go and picking up the win. 

Joey was also in action last Saturday at Greenbush with the NLRA Late Model tour. He backed up his win there earlier this year with a drive that took him from sixth to third to claim his fifth podium finish of the year. 

Kelsi’s week began on Wednesday night at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, N.D. as the NLSA Lightning Sprints made their final visit of the year. After struggling in her heat, the defending series champion put on a show in the feature, charging from 12th to fifth. On Saturday at Greenbush, she came home one spot shy of the win as she drove from third to finish second.
