EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (June 6, 2019) – It was another busy weekend for the entire Joey Pederson Racing team last weekend. Joey was at River Cities Speedway on Friday night with the WISSOTA Late Models. Tucker was also at River Cities Speedway in his WISSOTA Street Stock and also ran Saturday night at Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, Minn. Kelsi had the busiest weekend, running three NLSA Lightning Sprint events over the weekend.

Following a second-place run in his heat, Joey started seventh on the grid for the 20-lap main event. Pederson moved his way up the running order to challenge Cole Schill for the lead in the closing laps.

Pederson looked to roll around the outside of Schill right through the middle of the race track. Pederson pulled up to the door of Schill on several occasions but was never able to take the lead. In the closing laps, Pederson faded back to fourth behind Edginton and Brad Seng.

Tucker turned in a 16th-place run at River Cities on Friday, before turning around and racing to a fourth-place finish on Saturday at Greenbush to record his best finish of the season.

After picking up a heat win, Kelsi led the early going of Thursday’s NLSA Lightning Sprint feature at Norman County Raceway before coming home in the third position. Friday night at Red River Valley Speedway yielded a fifth-place finish for the driver of the No. 93. On Saturday, Kelsi returned to the podium at Greenbush as she raced from fourth to finish in the third spot.
