East Grand Forks, Minn. (July 14, 2025) - Tucker Pederson won his second feature of the year, and third of his career, Saturday night at Devils Lake Speedway near Crary, ND. Joining Tucker in the top five on Saturday night was his sister Kelsi who scored her second top five of the season at Devils Lake. Joey and Tucker started their race night slicing through the field in their heat races, both collecting second place runs from row three with Kelsi finishing third in her heat which she shared with Tucker. The Pederson’s made up the inside of the first three rows for the 25-lap main event with Tucker on the pole, Kelsi inside the second row and Joey inside row three. Tucker went door-to-door with Brody Troftgruben on the opening lap with Kelsi going side-by-side with Brandon Corbett and Joey going three-wide with Dustin Strand and Ryan Dahl. Unlike his first two wins at Devils Lake, a lap two caution saw Tucker have to lead a restart for the first time. Tucker resumed the race as the leader as Joey and Kelsi went side-by-side for fifth. Tucker had a ten-car length lead erased by a second caution on lap three but carried on as the leader as the race went back green. Tucker continued to lead as Joey and Kelsi went three-wide with Brandon Corbett for fourth. As Kelsi won the battle for fourth, Tucker was being hounded by Dustin Strand as the pair pulled away from the rest of the field. Strand pulled even for the first time at the midway point, but Tucker was able to fend off each charge by Strand. Though Strand remained within striking distance following the final cautions with nine laps left, Tucker led every lap for the third time in his career, winning the feature. Kelsi finished fourth for her second top five of her rookie year while Joey’s night came to a close just ten laps in with damage on the right rear corner. In other action last week, the Pederson’s raced Friday night at River Cities Speedway with Tucker charging from 11th to sixth and Kelsi from 19th to 11th. Joey was a DNF on Friday night as well, though he was a top five car early in the race. Joey took Sunday night off, but Kelsi and Tucker returned to Buffalo River Speedway in Glyndon, MN where Tucker scored his second career runner-up finish at the quarter-mile oval with Kelsi grabbing another top ten, finishing tenth. The NLRA returns to action this weekend with events at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, ND on Friday and again at Devils Lake on Saturday. 2025 Stats: Joey: Features: 13 Wins: 0 Top Fives: 5 Top Tens: 7 Kelsi: Features: 13 Wins: 0 Top Fives: 2 Top Tens: 6 Tucker Features: 14 Wins: 2 Top Fives: 4 Top Tens: 10 Special Thanks to our Sponsors: North Dakota Eye Clinic Dahlstrom Motors Inc.
