Runner-up for Tucker at Greenbush highlights weekend for Pederson crew

EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (July 29, 2021) – Each of the Pederson Racing drivers had one race on the schedule last week, and it was highlighted by Tucker Pederson third top two performance in his last four races last Saturday night at Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN.

Tucker started his night with a fourth place run in his heat race, handing him the fifth starting spot in the 15 lap main event.

Tucker slipped back to seventh in the first two laps, but began to work his way through the field from there. Making up five spots in the following three circuits, Tucker spent the duration of the race chasing Ryan Johnson for the lead, but came home in the second spot.

On Sunday at Buffalo River Speedway, Kelsi resumed her season with the POWRi Minn-Kota Lightning Sprints, scoring a heat race win.

Kelsi started on the outside of the front row to start the 20 lap main event, and led the first 15 laps before another mechanical failure robbed her of her first win of the season.

Joey kicked off the weekend for the family on Friday night at River Cities Speedway with a charge from seventh to third in his heat race on Howie Schill Memorial night with the NLRA Late Models.

Joey started the main event in the 11th spot, and was contending for the final spots inside the top five for the majority of the 24 lap feature.

A caution in the final two laps saw Joey running in sixth, but Joey finished the race in the seventh spot.

The schedule picks back up this week as all three will be in action at River Cities on Friday night. Kelsi and Tucker will return to Greenbush on Saturday night, the Kelsi will finish off the weekend again at Buffalo River.
