EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (June 3, 2025) - It’s been a busy start to the busiest season in the history of Pederson racing as all three drivers are campaigning Late Models for the first time for the 2025 season. Each racer has run six nights to kick off the 2025 campaign with a combined ten top tens between the trio as the calendar flips to June. Joey and Kelsi kicked off the season on April 12th at Devils Lake Speedway near Crary, ND. Tucker had mechanical issues that kept him from racing and Joey wasn’t able to finish the feature but Kelsi’s debut saw her finish eighth. The trio ran in the same division for the first time on Friday May 9th during the season opener at River Cities Speedway. Kelsi ended up with the best heat finish of the three, finishing third and making the redraw. Joey also made the redraw and started fourth with Kelsi starting fifth and Tucker starting 12th. Following an opening lap spin, Kelsi’s rebound saw her roll around the top and make up seven spots to finish tenth. Joey improved from fourth to second on the restart and ended the night as the runner-up with Tucker charging from 12th to finish sixth. Joey scored a top five at Buffalo River the following Sunday though Kelsi and Tucker were unable to finish. Another week of poor weather followed before the trio returned to River Cities and added a trip to Dead Horse Creek Speedway in Morden, MB. Tucker ended both nights with the best finish of the three with finishes of eighth at River Cities and third in Morden while adding a solo trip to I-94 Speedway that Friday which ended with a 16th place finish. Joey had a top ten at River Cities and a fourth-place finish in Canada with Kelsi finishing 12th and sixth respectively. Last Friday night was the most recent run for the trio as they made their NLRA season debuts at River Cities during the World of Outlaws Sprint Car show. Kelsi had a redraw spot go up in smoke following a late caution which was followed by a frontstretch wreck that ended her night early. Joey’s night ended early as well as he pulled into the infield with a 25th place finish. Tucker ran all 25 laps, finishing the run with a 13th place finish. The group will look to rebound this Friday night as River Cities Speedway returns to weekly action. 2025 Results: Joey: Races: 6 Wins: 0 Top Fives: 3 Top Tens: 5 Kelsi: Races: 6 Wins: 0 Top Fives: 0 Top Tens: 3 Tucker: Races: 6 Wins: 0 Top Fives: 1 Top Tens: 4 Special Thanks to our Sponsors: North Dakota Eye Clinic Dahlstrom Motors Inc.
