![]() GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 19, 2017) – A stout field of 20 Performance Auto Late Models made the call for the 20-lap feature, led to the green flag by Joey Pederson and Shane Edginton. Pederson grabbed the early lead as Brad Seng moved into second. Pederson began to pull away from the field as the laps clicked off, while Seng, Mike Balcaen, Bill Mooney and Edginton all fought for second through fifth. Seng and Mooney emerged from that pack to battle for second, but both cars drifted up the track on lap nine. That allowed Mike Balcaen to get a two-for-one deal and move from fourth to second in one corner.
With Pederson mired in lapped traffic, Balcaen was able to reel in the Shawn Horn Realty No. 7P. Pederson was too strong, however, as he was able to withstand a late race charge from Balcaen and park his machine in RydellCars.com Victory Lane. Balcaen, Mooney, Seng and Ryan Corbett rounded out the top five.
